This is a one-of-a-kind set, from my 22 KT Gold luster hand-glazed series. Each earring is individually crafted, by me; the ceramic glazes here create a unique, non-reproducible blend.

The honey translucent glaze pools and deepens int the spiral pattern. 
The metal elements are gold fill or gold-plated findings and wires I create with
One of a Kind. Handcrafted fine porcelain.

STORY, ABOUT THE WORK and MY PROCESS:

Long longtime running, I have been a lover of water, creeks, rivers and the sea!

Many cultures and countries view the spiral as a sacred symbol of water, connecting all of life. The spiral represents the cycle of life, growth, and change. rebirth- transformational forces of life.

Porcelain is a high or mid-range fired natural clay made of superfine particles. It becomes translucent and glass-like. (Firings go over 2000 degrees Fahrenheit) It is not an easy material to work with, but I love the results!
