ABOUT MY PROCESS:
This is a one of a kind set, from my carved- leaves series. The leaves are individually crafted, by me; the glazes on this one create a unique, nonreproducible glaze. I feel this glaze blends the depth of watery aqua and stony jade in an interesting way.
Porcelain is a high or mid-range fired natural clay made of superfine particles. It can become translucent and glasslike. (Firings go over 2000 degrees Fahrenheit) It is not an easy material to work with, but I love the results!
